Board of Management
Glenn Ward (Chairman) is a local Pharmacist who graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tasmania 1982. He has been successfully self employed as a Pharmacist since 1988.
Glenn is married with two young children. He is a Justice of the Peace and a Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Glenn was appointed to the Glenview Board in 2001 and was Vice-Chairman in 2005 and has been the Chairman of the Board since 2006.
Craig Andrikonis (Vice-Chairman) is currently the Regional Manager of Westpac Branch Sales, Tasmania. Craig has been with Westpac Bank for 26 years and has held numerous management positions over this time. Craig has worked both overseas and interstate during his time with the bank. He has a Graduate Diploma in Corporate Management and Diploma in Financial Services.
Craig grew up in Moonah and has a keen interest in progressing the interests of residents in the City of Glenorchy. Craig is married to Shelley and they have one beautiful son Darcy. Craig was elected to the Board by the Glenview Association at the 2006 AGM, and was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Board in 2008, and chair of the Board Audit Committee.
Luppo Prins (APM BA Ass.Dip.Soc.Sc) was a member of Tasmania Police for 42 years before retiring in 2005. He served in a variety of senior executive positions including ten years as Assistant Commissioner.
He is the holder of numerous awards including the Australian Police Medal APM for ‘Outstanding Service’.
Luppo is a graduate of the University of Tasmania (BA), the University of Virginia USA (Criminal Justice Education) and the Australian Institute of Police Management (Executive Leadership).
Luppo is married with two adult children and was elected to the Glenview Board by the Association at the 2005 AGM.
Dr Michael Salter is a General Practitioner who has practised in Hobart since 1976.
He was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Hobart and now lives in Collinsvale. Michael has been a member of the Glenview Board since 1998.
Scott Lancaster has lived in Glenorchy for nearly 20 years and joined the Board of Management in late 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A former Director of the Connect Credit Union, he is also currently a board member of Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania.
Scott has worked in a variety of roles in a number of industries, including the electricity supply industry, the financial sector, information technology and the retail sector. He currently works as a policy analyst with the Department of Primary Industries and Water, and prior to that spent six years working for the Department of Treasury and Finance, where he was responsible for revenue forecasting and providing advice to the Government on taxation matters. Scott is married with two young children.
Rosemary Rushton has a varied background in banking, customer service, logistics, warehousing and inventory. She and her husband have owned and operated a number of small businesses and she currently works for Norske Skog in Supply and Procurement.
Rosemary is also a Director of the Tasmania Freight Logistics Council and Hope Foundation Communicators (Ultra 106.5 radio).
Rosemary is married with 2 adult sons and was appointed to the Glenview Board at the AGM in 2009
Iain Weir is the Business Manager of St Michael’s Collegiate School and has broad cross sector institutional management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He is a Committee member of the Independent Schools Block Grant Authority, the Independent Schools Interest Subsidy Committee, Defence Reserve Support Council and currently holds the appointment as Director Navy Reserve Support Tasmania as a commissioned Officer in the Royal Australian Naval Reserves. He is past President of ASBA (Tas) Inc and a past national Director of ASBA Ltd.
Iain is married with three children.
Iain was appointed to the Glenview Board in 2009.
Craig Doherty is a lawyer with particular experience in construction and engineering law. He is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and holds a Masters degree in Construction law. He is also trained as an arbitrator and mediator. Having practiced law in Hobart with Dobson Mitchell and Allport, he has been a Senior Contracts Advisor with Hydro Tasmania since 2008.
Craig is Church Advocate for the Anglican Diocese of Tasmania, member of Diocesan Council and Director of Music of St David’s Cathedral. Craig was born and raised in Melbourne and moved to Tasmania in 1997. He is married with two children. Craig joined the Glenview Board in 2009.
Tim Swifte
(Diploma of Teaching, Tasmanian Teachers Certificate, Australian Sports Medal)
Tim was born at St Marys, North East Tasmania, where his father was the Principal of the School. Tim spent most of his primary school years at New Norfolk before moving to Glenorchy. Tim started a Science degree at the University of Tasmania, but switched to the Hobart Teachers College to study Education. Over a period of thirty five years Tim taught at a number of schools, mostly in the Northern Suburbs of Hobart, but did hold the Principalship in the small schools at Waratah and Fingal.
Tim actively encouraged children into sport, having coached school teams in football, cricket, minkey (junior hockey), sofcrosse (junior Lacrosse), athletics and swimming.
Tim has an active interest in sport, playing and umpiring cricket over a long period, umpiring local AFL football (field and goals), and have played club golf. Tim has also been active in sports administration, particularly as Secretary of the Tasmanian Cricket Umpires Association which led to the award of the Australian Sports Medal.
Tim is married to Ann and they have a married daughter with four children in Western Australia, and a bachelor son in Hobart.
Tim is Chair of the Anglican Board of Mission Tasmania Diocese Committee, worship in the Parish of Moonah. Tim is Vice President of the Committee of Management of Abbeyfield House, Hull Street, Glenorchy.
Tim currently works part time as a Tour Guide at Port Arthur.
