CLINICAL NURSE CONSULTANT REGISTERED NURSE LEVEL 3

This position will work closely with the Director of Client Services managing all aspects of clinical care in our residential and community programs. This position will ensure that all ACFI, accreditation and quality reporting standards are met and exceeded thereby allowing Glenview clients to receive the best aged care possible and opportunities to live their lives to the full.

REGISTERED NURSE LEVEL 2

We are looking for a Registered Nurse who enjoys the challenges that aged care provides. You will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Consultant and provide the day to day coordination and supervision of the nursing and care staff in the provision of clinical and care services to our residential clients. You will also have a role in providing clinical assessments for community clients. This interesting and diverse role will provide opportunity for development second to none.

OUTREACH SUPPORT WORKERS

Part Time and Casual
Cert III in Home and Community Care or equivalent or about to complete a qualification in the next three months

Glenview Outreach Services provide in-home support and services to approximately 100 community based clients across Southern Tasmania. We are looking for new people to join our Support Workers, Case Managers and volunteers who assist our clients through a diverse range of care, rehabilitation and support services to live their lives to the full. Glenview Outreach Support Workers receive salaries and conditions well above award and industry standard.

Both our residential lifestyle and outreach support workers will be required to undertake training in the Administration of Medications if they do not already have this qualification. New staff will be paid to attend this training and will be fully supported by our Registered Nurses to achieve this essential qualification.

Activities Program Coordinator

Full Time or Part Time
Cert IV in Aged Care or Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent

Are you a fun loving outgoing person? Would you enjoy planning, coordinating and providing a creative mix of activities and events to enhance the physical, social and spiritual well being of our residential clients? This role is also responsible for coordinating the contribution of volunteers to Glenview programs, including recruiting and supporting volunteers and allocating them to program activities across Glenview to enhance program outcomes and meet the interests and skills of the volunteers. Glenview has 80 volunteers and we are keen to expand and develop this program further. This could be just the challenge you are looking for!

Gardener / General Maintenance Officer

Full Time or Part Time

We seek the services of a committed, friendly and enthusiastic person to undertake general gardening and maintenance services as part of the Asset Services team at Glenview.

If you have experience and skill in establishing and maintaining gardens and have good general domestic and building maintenance skills, and would like to perform these functions both at the Glenview site and in the community assisting aged people to maintain and manage their own gardens, then this job may be for you!

Bisdee Support Worker - We Need a Man!

Part Time (30 hours per week)

Glenview has obtained an exemption from the Anti-Discrimination Act 1998 for this position.

Bisdee House is a vibrant day centre that operates from 8am - 8pm Monday to Saturday. Bisdee offers a range of clubs including our Men's Shed, Music and Drama, Gardening, Craft, Fun and Fitness, Social and Out and About clubs. Can you add to this range?

We are looking for an additional male staff member who:

  • Can assist to run and develop our thriving Men's Shed program
  • Genuinely enjoys the company of older people
  • Thrives in a dynamic and changing environment.
