History of Glenview book

A number of the Glenview ‘old timers’ are getting very old now and too many of them have already passed away. We still, however, have many residents and friends of Glenview who have been involved with us since our inception back in 1948. Attending the 100th birthday party recently of one of our original founders reminded me that time is running out for us to capture both their personal stories and their incredible community contribution to the unique history of Glenview.

We have contracted an experienced and qualified historian, Caroline Evans, to write the History of Glenview. Caroline has access to all our old files, minutes, photos and documents as well as access to many of the people involved with Glenview over the past 60+ years.

We want this book to be a beautiful record of Glenview’s history and a tribute to those people from the past who have made it the organisation it is today.

This is an expensive and time consuming exercise. We are therefore asking if you would like to assist us with a donation to the History of Glenview project. As Glenview is a not-for-profit organisation, your donation is fully tax deductible. I can promise you that all monies donated will be used solely in the research and production of the History.
