About Glenview Close
Glenview Close is our Independent Living Unit complex, also situated in Windsor Street Glenorchy.
Glenview Close comprises 10 modern, 2-bedroom units located next door to Glenview Home.
Residents live independently but have access to other Glenview services such as meals, laundry, activities and cleaning if required. Glenview Close residents have priority access to Glenview Home for respite or permanent residential care, should this ever become necessary or desirable.
All villas have access to an emergency call system should it be required.
The grounds are fully fenced with after-hours automatic security gates and lighting.
All villas have magnificent views over Glenorchy, the Derwent River and Collins Cap.
How much does it cost?
Villas may be obtained on a 'lifetime tenancy' arrangement, by paying an ingoing contribution fee. These are based on the current market value when a unit becomes available.
Glenview retains a deferred management fee, based on the period of tenancy. The balance is refunded to the resident or their estate.
In addition, there is a weekly service fee to cover rates and taxes, building insurance, grounds maintenance, repairs, etc.
