Men's Shed Volunteer
We need men!
Glenview has current volunteer places to support our male clients and residents in any of the above activities. Or maybe you have an idea as to how you can assist some older gentleman to enjoy male company in the community.
Our male residents and clients are in the minority in accordance with the national figures on ageing, and this position is to specifically address the lifestyle choices of those men who reside at Glenview or are our community clients.
As a Volunteer with Glenview, you are registered and supported in the special role of making a difference in someone’s life.
You can drop in for a chat, a drink, join in with the activities program or accompany a male client to a venue of choice for time with mates.
You may have a workshop or snooker table at home that a man would enjoy.
An opportunity for some reimbursement of personal costs incurred is available.
A federal police-check is mandatory. Glenview will cover costs and apply online with you at time of interview.
